Your baby's facial features are beginning to take shape, and you're approaching the end of the embryonic period.

The eyes, nose, and mouth are becoming more defined. Your baby's face is starting to look more human-like.

Your baby is now about the size of a raspberry. The body is becoming more proportional, and internal organs are continuing to develop.

If you haven't already, this is a good time to schedule your first ultrasound. You may be able to see your baby's heartbeat and movements.
